Three years ago, Sharefish delivered 6 sewing machines to the community in El Carrizo and taught a group of women how to sew. One of the women, Xiomara, was such a quick learner that she started classes to teach other women to sew. A small group of these women, led by Xiomara and supported by Sharefish and donors like you, have formed a micro-business they have named Primorosas Creaciones – delicate creations, made with love. The group has completed its first sale of beautifully crafted hand-made napkins. The additional income provides much needed support for their families. This is just another example of how your gifts are changing lives and bringing hope to families in Honduras.
